I kind of understand why people are bothered about the name not explaining what the flaw does, but in the end its just a name. I mean his aspect ability is named "shadow control" Howe the only thing it does rightnow, is making his shadow more independent.
It was like this: after receiving a question, his mind automatically produced a truthful answer. After that, the Flaw would force him to say that answer aloud. Refusal to speak would result in the buildup of pressure, then piercing pain. The longer he kept quiet, the worse the pain would become. If his flaw was so easy to overcome, then it wouldn't make sense. You have to remember that he is the first and only human known to have an divine aspect.
