Hello? They are all people boosted by aether. And since only people with top scores in earlier tests can come here I dare say they should have skills and amazing passives. Sure their aether have been all modified and fixed to a number but they should be able to increase soul level beyond what regular player can. All of these meant that they are still super beings. Now if they can't see the single most outstanding physical feature of the only mortal enemy they are facing, then they are doing something wrong. Heck they are in the skies if I remembered right. Nothing covering them from seeing the girl. I don't think I wrote my earlier comment to be critical of the situation but if you stop and think about it, it is fishy.
Instead of taking things so personally why don't you open yourself to understand people have opinion? I would have thought Ves is your father or something because of your reaction. Sure Ves have done stuff, that I don't argue with. What I have problem is with how stupid he acts. Sure he made a variant of a very complicated and feature packed mech. Sure he won top 10 in a competition between his generation. But that is just plot armor. In real life with how he acts he probably can't digest all the knowledge the system gave him. In fact I don't think I ever seen a mention where he sat down to learn the information he crammed in a corner of his mind. The story mentioned him partying but he never talked to girls. Him being smarter than most people but failed to see obvious connect. He is in a militaristic family with his main goal of being a soldier in the form of pilot. But he has no backbone and loves to cower in front of danger. Sure he doesn't have the aptitude and left that behind since 10, but he must have trained until then. Where did all that training go? Kids usually pick up attitude from adults, whom in this case are veterans of rival war. You don't see an ounce of that in Ves.
Also I am not saying it is his fault, I am saying it is understandable that some people put a blame on him. There is a difference in context.
Give me an example of a school shooting incident where the shooter got a extremely modified heavy weapon that no one even thought of designing. Also that weapon needs to be created by a gun smith that made only 2 gun. One normal and one that is used in the shooti g. Not two types of gun but two single unit of a gun.
Either author messed up or they enjoyed gossiping a little too much.
Sure scream out loud who you are. There is the victim student and the one guy who isn't knocked out. Keep this up and it will be easy to pin point you.
Better start fights with blood in your mouth. Would heal your hp while you spam attack.
Did it say it was man made? I thought it was through abilities or something.
Probably because it lacks the "cool" factor lol. Then again it is bit harder to scrape blood remains from a bottle then test tubes since bottles have a neck.
That is life. Only readers know it doesn't apply here because we saw through Ves's eyes. If we get only the 3rd party information that most of the people got, we will probably blame Ves for it.
Here is your refill of ammo/handgun. Now dual wield the pistols!
Keep your body guard safe Ves!
I guess I have to give him credit for overloading a pistol. At least now he can hit some exosuits....hopefully.
Whoa messing with the batteries is bad. Do you have knowledge about energy cells? I don't remember if you do...
Why take the pistol if it won't make a scratch? Well I guess holding something is better than nothing. Good job Ves.
So that box was an upgrade package for Lucky? Interesting... Who could have sent the box? It did appear out of thin air. It was made to teach Ves about part of modular armor and it contained upgrade for the cat. Either the system, his dad, some unknown deus ex machina, or his future self could do something like this. His future self only possible if the system allows time travel when he has progressed far enough.
The reaction is reasonable. But I guess people thought that militaristic family should give him a back bone so that he won't break down this badly.
"Weren't supposed to be armed" but Bright Republic has battleship fleets. I guess only for defensive actions?
Wow there pirates got guts. Jumping into an active combat zone to hunt down civilian ships which may or may not be there. That is quite a gamble.
Oh yes, definitely something like a UN then.
