That is considering that orochimaru would die as in the canon, sasuke might not seek him causing him to live.
Obito will only have the Zetsu army and the Tailed Beasts. Unless he or Zetsu has some other hidden card under their sleeves, they'll be on the losing end. Depending on how strong I become by then and whether that seal is a success or not, I will be able to implement several of my plans while keeping both of them at bay. Since the number of participants wasn't a power of 2, a couple of extra matches were needed to reduce the number of participants to 8. Hence, the first two matchups were, No. 4 Haruno Sakura Vs No. 5 Gaara and No. 9 Dosu Kinuta Vs No. 10 Nara Shikamaru! Hopefully the idea is not nerfing Fujin for a few years, but in the author we trust.
A few other issues were troubling me as well which were more of a fault or a plot hole/inconsistency in canon. I was thinking about how to deal with it and was thinking about nerfing one technique to make those events seem logical in this story. While thinking of an answer for this, I got an amazing idea and it resolved most of the issues I was facing! - ZaHagag22dCommented
Didn’t Iwa share the information that Fijian is a grandmaster? Knowing orochimaru he wouldn’t be so reckless. I don’t really remember if Iwa shared with the other villages since it was long ago.
