I see what u mean,but what I actually meant is death makes life valuable the thought of losing said life makes u more motivated to accomplish and achieve more.it is exactly because life can be lost it has such value whereas if u were immortal u lose that value sure u can do the things like curing and helping people but for how long u can’t live for people forever at some point you’ll want a life of ur own and when u relise how hard that is for u cuz no matter what happens it’ always the same conclusion..you’ll attend funerals but no one will attend urs..u can have a relationship with someone but in the end they will die and u will do it over and over until it loses its meaning..you’ll watch ur sons and daughters grow old.everything will evolve be destroyed and then rebuilt but u will stay the same

I think once you get immortality you lose more than you get,although the universe is big and all youll still get board things you thought were interesting will lose its meaning after a long time,life itself will be pointless I think what really drives us to live and survive and do all types of things in life is death,once you lose that life loses its meaning,(opinion)
