I'm enjoying this book - the characters, the conflict between the main characters, the intrigue of the external political conflict that is still hidden - and hopeful that it continues to be interesting without too too long for romantic development and reveals. The writing is good. I really hope for many more chapters soon!

Where I am in North America, antibiotics are highly regulated and you need a prescription for pills. The docs and pharmacists make a bug deal about completing your prescription in its entirety. People dont casually carry these pills aound and would not freely hand them over either. And I doubt think that a few would be effective. However, you can buy antibiotic ointments off the shelf. Just seems more like what a painkiller would be treated which people do carry and could request.
