Meaning, "he is referring to a someone that has cheerful personality", "but on contrary" (referring to his perspective because he is not a cheerful person or lets say he is outsider of ones group). "If the tent does not have many people to sleep with it will be boring or quiet" (On the outsiders perspective, if the tent is consisting of only cheerful person, then the tent is a little unusual because it is not alive or not loud) That is only how I think it supposed to be.

I don't know if its correct, but I read it like this 'There was a previous camper or person that taken this spot' 'I wonder if it they just take off a bit' Maybe the last line meaning to say was 'Maybe they were just off to toilet or something' or maybe like this 'The place surroundings is good, you don't need to go far for toilet' I am not also good, it is just how I read this line because I felt like something is wrong here

By grouping with shinohara, that is like saving and helping the both of them. Horikita being a leader of class 2 - D will pretty much have the most attention from the others, also she is a lone wolf getting her injured and forcing her to retire will result to the fall of class D and of course kouenjie will laugh at her. Because I have a feeling that horikita might fail this exam as well because she is too attached with kiyotaka. (Attached with no personal feelings, 'attached' like she have the most contact with)

Maybe he is also from white room but an earlier generation? just a thought. Kiyotaka is from 4th generation, if koenji is from earlier generation then it explain his overwhelming abilities. Although this thought of mine are lacking of evidence yet, or koenji is just too mysterious character.

Komiya means if ike is a man he should confess already to shinohara. Probably shinohara already told komiya that she likes someone but ike treat her like a trash (probably on ike's side he was just fooling around). If this is correct, then komiya meaning to tell is "don't make shinohara cry, be a man". I don't see ike trying to attack them knowing it is shinohara's group and she might also get expelled if they are the bottom five.
Komiya had planned on confessing to Shinohara during this very exam. But it didn't seem like he had done so yet.
