His incarnations are essentially all his shadows given his own physical body, but they're all using his mind once he incarnates them; one mind between multiple bodies, experiencing & controlling all of them simultaneously. To a normal person, that'd be *incredibly* debilitating, but Sunny's just absurdly good at compartmentalizing his mind. Bro's built different. So, his main body is in Bastion, whilst also controlling his incarnation in the Nameless Temple fighting Nephis, as well as his other incarnation also exploring Ravenheart, at the same time, with one mind between them all.
Wouldn't that be a truth? It's true that Nephis can call him shadow. She is physically capable of speaking the word & addressing him that way. So, isn't him saying "You can call me Shadow" speaking the truth, which should be impossible for him thanks to the mask? Or am I getting mixed up, somewhere?
Bro's Jörmungandr
THAT'S MY BOY FIEND! LFGGG
Congrats on hitting 1600! Looking forward to the story that's to come. :D
It goes even further; Sunny also was originally going to call himself 'Nobody' in the Dreamscape, but the alias was taken, so he chose Mongrel instead. :)
It's called Stockholm Syndrome, but from what I know it doesn't actually exist. Was created by police a psychologist to downplay a case where they *heavily* put a hostage at risk, more so than they had even been *as* a hostage to the dude that was holding her. The lady wanted to take them to court or something, so they came up with that to help silence the issue.
Right? Like, what Kaind of guy would have the balls?
Late correction ik, but this definitely isn't true, and I'm unsure what's given you that hypothesis. Creatures always drop Memories/Echoes of the exact same level as they were. Dormant drop Dormant, Awakened drop Awakened, etc.
Okay, but shouldn't he tell Nephis & Cassie? Surely he would have an easier time if he had another 2 teammates to help him, let alone two monsters (well, a Terror & a Beast respectively) like them. Even just informing them & getting their opinion would be smart. They have at least an *hour* to get there preemptively too, meaning he could also get Jet's help in fighting herself. Feels like Sunny just wants a solo arc tbh, since he's pretty much neglecting two of his biggest sources of help.
Congrats on 1400, G3! I'll be here until the end. :)
So, hypothesis time: the island's stuck in a big loop of some kind. The reason for my theory, is that nothing seems delapidated or worn down, as if time hadn't affected it, as well as the more symbolic imagery of the whirlpool of time beneath. If the river of time is a whirlpool, then it's travelling round and round on itself, like a circle, forever repeating. Whether this loop is infinite or has an eventual endpoint/'out' is yet to be seen, but considering the water eventually drops into an abyss, the way out is likely dropping off the edge, and my guess for who the *footsteps* belong to, is that they're Sunny's own footsteps, seeing as they were described as smaller-sized. :)
Another Eragon enjoyer.
I! I summon, in my name! The treacherous master of shadows, the divine cockroach of audacious storytelling, the slayer of fated foes!
They gonna' trace a 4-pointed star across their chest, whilst they're at it?
