While that is true, the Index's funny paper generator seems to be interested about the development of Asher (the "take advantage of this death" prescript) so Index is not exactly a bad choice. Also this might be an excuse to bring back female Yan back into the story.

This is an interesting development, also the dango shopkeeper might be related to the Impurity gang cuz she directed them to the hotel? Why did system activate and shutdown Asher though? Imagine if Asher meet Royal Night just to be told that the business card she gave him is the "valid ID" and he just effectively wasted 300 Ahn for no reason.

Also the sweepers are kinda weak here aren't they? I expected them to be a little stronger since they're ranked as HE class abnos in Lobcorp.

Imagine if an executioner chases after Asher then arrest him for no gun license, and the following chapter is just Asher doing paper work for like 10 hours straight to use the gun legally.
