Your writing is also good, pretty detailed and not rushed makes this chapter pretty easy to read and understand. the mc's philosophy is kinda similar to FY, having no bottom line and twisted reasoning but still rational and calm in front of danger. it also have similarities to Noah in Botds, doing anything to survive in this cruel world.
