In canon Dumbledore didn't know about horcruxes at this point. but if it's different for the sake of the FF then that's fine
He'll struck a deal with Andrew and made him loyal to Harry so that he can take on voldemort. He also needs the magic of obscururs to destroy the horcrux in a safe way. If Andrew didn't agree then Dumbledore will give him another chance when he is in death bed. - KnightOfDeath3dPosted
After reading the beginning chapters here's what I can give as a synopsis: A child born as the twin of Harry Potter, was cast aside by his family, the Potters, and ultimately ended up living as an orphan. Dumbledore himself even casting the child aside after forcefully consuming the boys life force to give it to Harry. Alone with nothing but a system and his previous knowledge of this world, the child will make his own way in the world of magic. (The system only seems to be there to give rewards exclusively so far)
