did u forget the setting of the novel is in medieval period? of course it matters that she's a noble lady. title was everything at the time. i agree with the part that she's selfless to the point of being reckless however the responsibility here still leans more on ruth because he's her teacher. how could be be that irresponsible to forget to teach something so CRUCIAL. if u go to med school and ur proctor forgets to teach something crucial that could literally cost a life and could potentially get you behind bars
