The overall writing quality could’ve been better. The story felt like it sped along, which is good if your looking for a light read, but for people wanting to emerge them themselves in the story, it lacked in that regard. The author could benefit from reading more female written works. I don’t want to say it, but this seems like a classic ”Men writing women” scenario. The descriptions of women just felt strange, and there was little to no details about many of the male characters, except the uncle. It was obvious that the road incedent would pay a future part in the story. It didn’t feel like a natural inclusion, just a way to force some conflict into the story. Also there were a few grammatical erorrs that drew me out of the story. Overall, it seems this author needs to study more writing material, but if he can master the pacing and vocabulary, the sky’s the limit
