That's what he did against rain shinobi,atleast something similar on smaller scale i guess. Afterall just a genin being able to use A-rank water release jutsu wouldn't impress Orochimaru. Also in his thoughts Orochimaru here says even he couldnt do it so i guess that's what he is talking about since he can definately do A rank water jutsu

The Takumi of right now was only held up by potions. He had been abusing Stimulant Potions(Coffee potion basically) for the past few days to make use of the most time he possibly could.
