I find is strange that people are reacting so poorly to Agnes when she is the only one in the whole castle fighting for Maxi’s freedom and strength

Is it possible the princess doesn’t have any ill-will towards Maxi and it’s just that her father conditioned her to feel competitive with other women?

I’d say being proud and being confident are different, and even opposites sometimes. If she were confident, she wouldn’t be so prideful. She’d speak her mind, express her feelings, and know her limits
