Ok, I feel so sorry for her. He is such a poor excuse of a male. He is not fit to be king, husband or father. He is not a even a man yet...His father is not really despizing him....he is trying to push him over the edge to teach him to be Independent king, he eighter step up to him or he die...This man is excusing all his action and fears by being a monster...bathing in his own guilt to cover his eyes of sufffering he cause to others...feeling sorry for himself....folowing stupid rules...he is afraid of invisible enemies...instead of fighting them...letting women fight for him and shifting blame to traditions....then asking witch for advice so he doesn't need to make his own decision...prophecies will not come true if he doesn't do anything.... It is interesting story but quite hard to read because of the obvious disregard for life and value of woman as an human being... I hope this king grows up in the process of this book, so Ava can have her ending being best fighter at cost of blood of others...can it be even called a happy ending at all?

It is not literal ears...lol. It is like the stones somehow suck in the moods and stuff going on around them. Actually it sometimes happen in our world too, that sensitive people can feel if something horrible happen on a place because if you touch a wall there it can make you feel suddenly sick, sad or scared...it works... Good place can make you feel good...even if you do not know the place history..it is like the atmosphere of that places which is somehow soaked in it.. But Sarcos have it strong as on steroids...it us unnerving ...because he cannot change it..it was done already...he can only watch it over and over again as he pass the dark corridors...
