It sucks that Riftan has never confirmed to Maxi that he has never had lovers in the past. He has said he has had her in his mind for a long time but that doesn't mean he couldn't have had lovers. If he did, I think it would help her feelings of jealousy

I'm so glad this is being brought up, and so relevant. I was also not agreeing that the monsters, who are living beings, are being treated as inferior and something to just destroy. and how leaders manipulate conversations to control how we feel about "others". it is dangerous rhetoric and never okay. I'm glad it was finally said
