Sunny_Ji_37782yrPostedI watched this drama twice and thought I came to terms with the cliff hanger. Clearly, I needed more and this novel delivered!!! Boy oh boy am I happy with the entire story and the ending was satisfying. My one complaint is that there is not a second book as I am now super invested in these characters, old and new! 5 stars!!! It is indeed a must read!

After which, he stepped out of the tent and brought in a set of soft armor which he slowly put on her. He removed his own cape and put it over her. Without speaking, he continued to help her prepare her equipment, sharpening her blade, checking her luggage, packing medicine. So different from Yan Xun, who overpromised and painted the prettiest picturesque utopia, one that Chu Qiao spent 11 years trying to make true. Unlike Yan Xun, Zhuge Yue does not make empty promises and his actions speak louder than words. This is a man who delivers!! 😍
