hm i understand your point. i just feel like he’s wasting opportunities; not only for strengthening those close, but also for getting better rewards for simple spars as well. even if they were to betray, hes strong enough to make easy work of them. sometimes taking a leap of faith can reward with unexpected gains in a cultivation world and you can gain a lot from having people who would die for you. i personally like mc’s with more people around them. solitary mcs with few or no attachments are hard for me to enjoy since i could never relate to wanting being alone for eternity or even with few people.

isn’t it perfectly reasonable to nurture your own people? why do people dislike giving rewards to those close to them? if i could help my friend, woman, or family live by giving them resources when i didn’t need them then of course i would. even if it’s of some use, if it will be more rewarding for those close to me and it’s better in the long term then i‘ll hand them over.

this is definitely in my top 3 villain novels if not the top. i dont understand everyones infatuation with psychopathic murder hobo villain mcs whos mission is to slaughter the world with cold indifference nor the dissatisfaction they have with the author who writes a genuinely really good charachter and its sometimes infuriating how such a broad term had been sliced down to this general description. anyway this story is amazing.

well no. falling in love with someone even if you already have a significant other can be innocent. those that act on those desires disregarding ongoing relationships are the ones that are guilty. if you leave your ongoing relationship with the explanation or not its fine that way. youre not obligated to love only one person nor stay with that one person forever. it may be morally wrong to some but thats personal views on the matter. again its a matter on perspective and actions rather than feelings i guess. its like saying im guilty for wanting to kill someone but not acting on it.

this story is more like a hidden boss story so keeping at this pace is good so far. he hasn’t really fought much and has only intended to be lazy so i don’t see the point of nerfing him.
