Who wouldn't be anxious at war? xD We know that he can't die, but she? It would be weird if she was calm. She's always worried that he'll injure himself. And this situation(monster war) is something new. It's not even human duel. It's army of monsters. W-O-R-S-E.

But it's about others. Prestige, face. She's royal. Her father is obsessed with this things. She heard a lot from him. And now in her mind Riftan is loosing it because of HER. She's the only flaw in this perfect picture.

Because to her it's not possible that he's worried about his own... nicknames. "He's perfect, they're jealous. He's above that." She's sad, bc her condidions has given them another reason to laugh? And she thinks that she's the only real reason for his humiliation? And I bet he's thinking similar, but about her. He's worried he's the reason she has been drawn into this farse.
