I’m so glad that Princess Agnes is so friendly with Maxi! She really does need a friend!

Riftan, you can’t keep your wife locked up! He’s making this so much worse, treating her like this. Princess Agnes is determined to call him out on this!

I wish Riftan would have a little more faith in Maxi! She’s insecure enough as it is… I’m glad she defended Ruth against Agnes’ hostility; I really like Ruth even if he’s troublesome.

I hope Maxi and Princess Agnes get through this and become close friends! I think Maxi needs a friend who is also a noble lady, for more perspective as she grows out of her sheltered past!

I love them both so much, even if they’re terrible at communicating with each other in a way they each understand! It’s sweet that he’s caring for her, but so frustrating that he’s so angry. Her stubbornness isn’t helping, either. (But, I love them together and having these chapters of their one on one interactions to read!)
