I am not even joking when I say that, this fanfic has the potential to be the best DNA fanfiction ever. One of the reasons why DNA is extremely good because, Sawamura is not your OP protagonist who has some OP hidden skill. He is diamond in the rough, and has to stumble hard in order to get up and learn valuable lessons. There are some fan fictions in a A03 , which are extremely good in quality, but with OP Sawamura. While those are good , this has the potential to be THE best because , as the author is showing right now, Sawamura isn’t too OP and isn’t dominating the scene. This means that, we would see the process where he would get the physicality and mentality to pitch in higher pressure games and learn numbers. I only hope the author comes back soon.

If everything goes well, this has the potential to be the best diamond no Ace fan fiction ever. I’m not even joking. One of the reason why diamond no Ace is immaculate It’s because the main character is an underdog. He isn’t your average OP protagonist, who can walk into any team in the sport. he stumbles, stumbles hard, but gets up while improving himself at a rapid pace. The best DNA fanfics such in A03 have OP Sawamura , which is great, but at some point it becomes monotonic. This Sawamura tho , is very good but still an underdog ( until now anyway) he is still learning and isn’t pitching Numbers as if it’s nothing. It’s a steady journey so it’s exciting to read . I only hope the author comes back again.

Sawamura in his previous life knew how hard Tanba and the third years worked for 3 years . This Sawamura is talking like as if he is very keen on snatching the ace number away from Tanba, which i understand the sentiment but not like him.

I know I can’t blame the translator but this “demon king” gimmick is so cringe man. Why tf is that even a nickname for a middle school kid is beyond me . And one of the main reason why DNA is so good is because the MC is underrated , weak-to-strong for majority of the story. Judging by this , I can’t say how much good the story gets

Hiratsuka’s involvement in the story is weird TBF. I mean she is the only character who is from a completely different anime compared to the others, and it kind of spoils the vibe of the story
