Her lashes were reddish-brown, a shade darker than her hair. They were drooping like wet feathers in the rain, and her eyes were rimmed red. The sight wrenched at Riftan's heart.

I will now forever think of Riftan as Shrek and Ruth as Donkey.
While Ruth enjoyed an easy admittance into the Blackhorn Dragons, Riftan ended up acting as his guard dog. It almost put his vehement declaration of having nothing to do with the mage to shame. They often had to work together on the same commissions, so he had no choice but to show the new recruit the ropes. - Tiffie_Lynne1yrCommentedMaxi stared at him in irritation. She was tired of hearing those words. She nipped at his lip and rubbed against him in a spasm. Riftan stiffened before crashing down onto the bed and thrusting upward into her.
