I always think about how he says that he wants to adorn Maxi with the finest cloth and brightest jewels from her head to her toe. How much he wants her to be living lavishly and free from any harm, it must have pained him to feel like he has failed her... But I do understand why she needs to do this and why she has to be here.. While they are separated, I was secretly counting down to when they would finally meet. I actually really agree that this all is needed to grow and develop her character. Throughout all these chapters, although it's been really interesting seeing Maxi's growth and strength (mentally and abilities), I still find myself at the edge of my seat. CANNOT WAIT FOR Riftan and Maxi scenes to come!!
