I'm sorry for the late reply. Please keep in mind that no matter how realistic it looks, it's still a game. So simple experiences see e to level up a players abilities that complement the sword (strength, reflexes, stamina) and the way it progresses would be much quicker than it is in real life. Even this game had limits when it comes to realism.
