Oops im confused. I thought he didnt go to the Lexos mountains because in Riftan’s POV he was assigned to escort Maxi to Anatol after the wedding. But in earlier of book 1 Gabel was the storyteller about the expedition during their first dinner in Anatol. So i think u are right. I guess he did join the dragon subjugation expedition, after he fail to bring Maxi to Anatol.
