I am reading this because it's giving me TBATE vibes but, oh boy. Too much filler informations which are not that necessary, unimportant side stories, and confusing first person perspectives (you should put which person's view if you want to change frequently). And over controlling mother is very annoying. She thought she could control everyone because she got beta male as a husband.

There are funny situations for ambiguous phrasings and this definitely is not one. This is weird and really unnecessary.
