Nice story, though the mc is irritatingly kind, the characters are interesting and world building is done in a good manner. And seeing he chose a lethal weapon in ch7 I hope he will become ruthless and decisive as that's what detectives are supposed to be. Overall it is a good story with GREAT potential, definitely adding it in my library!!

well, since I was completely new to this, I didn't know average words per chap XD. But the later chaps are all long

Of course, but there are going to be some main antagonists who will not just die in 2 chapters, I am gonna build their character and give them a good backstory. And you will get to know in the next chapter of what I am trying to do, so do advice me of you feel something is wrong
