Agreeable; however, the "Worseness" of your house and the street is subjective, for someone who's seen the grass on both sides, it's up to them based on "their" experiences to decide which is worse and to choose their poison. Essentially, I believe your claims come down to them being valid, while also not understanding that the choice of which is worse, the decision to say that living with their abusive parent isn't worth it and that they should go out into the real world, report to the authorities that he believes are corrupt, and fend for themselves, is ultimately his, and with his previous experiences, which I show and talk about in future chapters, he decides not to. So while I understand and can even partially agree with your claims of his decision being unreasonable, odd, and confusing, the perspective changes when you look through Ken, the protagonist's, eyes. Now I can agree that I may not have done the best job delaying such information about his past life for future chapters, but I can assure you that it is there, and that I have my reasons for doing so. In Ken's case, as I explore in the story, his decision to stay with his abusive parent is influenced by various factors, including past trauma and the perceived trade-off between stability (albeit in an abusive environment) and the feelings one who's never felt before may gain. It's important to acknowledge that the concept of "worse" is relative and deeply personal, shaped by one's unique life experiences and perspective. Again, thank you for taking the time to comment and for the thought you've put into your responses so far, and I invite you to continue forward. [[P.S. I will say that such a conflict between staying with his father and leaving will be a constant theme that is properly explored and talked about through the book.]
I'm unsure what you mean by 'dependent.' He goes back to his abusive parent because, as I briefly showed in the beginning, he hasn't lived a good life in his previous one. In future chapters, I will show that *Skip for Spoilers* he lived an even worse life than the one he's in now. To address your other comment about how 'being so submissive just to get food and shelter is illogical,' not to be rude, but the price of 'just food and shelter' is subjective, and such a take could be considered privileged depending on the person. To someone who's lived a majority of his life on the streets, has had to fend for such things completely by himself, and understands the struggles of such a life, getting such things for 'free,' practically, is a very good deal. So, to him, it's not 'illogical.' Lastly, he's twelve—a twelve-year-old in a world filled with superpowered humans. In a completely foreign world, he hasn't quite understood yet, it's reasonable for him to choose to stay with his abusive dad at least until he understands the world better and amasses more strength. As I've mentioned already, he doesn't live in the most peachy part of Musutafu, meaning, from what he knows, going to the authorities won't always help. I hope this addresses and fully answers your question. If you have any more concerns, please feel free to comment again.

Kinda?
Understandable, your confusion makes sense, however I kinda Need OC's to make a story, and if you read on their interactions, personality, and them as a character would be clearly explained. If your issue is no MHA characters when rest assure they will appear but the OC's WILL be a prominent thing in the book.
Understandable, however looking at it from my POV I have a character I need to put into the world and develop him with his own experiences and interactions, it is inevitable that I will need OC's to develop him since the MHA cast is only so big. I will say that in the coming chapters 20's and forward after this over reaching arc ends there will be wayyy more MHA characters but yeah that's why I have as many OC's as I do.
This should be refreshing, someone using OFA with more thought process than just 'SMASH' in their mind.
Let us *Play* a little bit.
Sure, but to make such an amount in one week or two, to someone who's never had to spend more than say 2,000 in one sitting is quite the sum.
*an eye on*
In a hero school like ua, where they have full jurisdiction over whats going on and licenses, nah they'd be fine.

personally not if it isn't a shop designated for such weapons, like there are gun shops so if this is a sharp weapons spot then sure I guess. Also, this is New York, and while I haven't been there enough to say if this is or is not normal I will say that that place is a little weird soo....maybe?
???? 60x6=360, 60x5=300 so did you mean 5 times.
