not really. Danger sense is subconcious autonomous recognition. A normal person does it when they feel danger at night, or feels ssomeones gaze on them. but spidermans is like 1000 times more powerfull, and frankly speaking more of an alpha class ability. a peak human doesnt have the sensory ability to come close to what sense spiderman has.

it doesnt have to be paranoia, honestly just to personally say thank, and maybe also sate my curiosity. That would be enough for me to go out of my way to look for them.

electricity as we know it is just a less potent version of lighting. If you want to be obtuse, lightning is a natural form of electric current produced by clouds, and electricity is a form of energy that can be either manufactured or found in nature. Lighting is always much more potent that electricity, since we can only utilize so much electricity before all know methods of conduction melt or fail to function. essentially the difference is power, which Ironically in this situation is actually a valid and functional difference for the story.

essentially its just godlike cognitive abilities that are related to mathematics. imagine combining every prominent mathmatician ever born, then you might get HALF the talent that a polymath is supposed to have

its a great novel. although I hope later on it will actually show the perspective on the child. Like not one P.O.V of the child or his thoughts. He feels more like a plot device than the main Character. Other than that great novel though, well written and properly thought out.

I think it would be even funnier if it was a neutral smell. like not a bad smell but distinct
