What you’re saying makes sense but having such high technology in the world of my hero academia it wouldn’t be surprising if they have a machine to know what quirk someone has or even a quirk telling peron, someone who’s quirk is to know other peoples quirks. In the end what you say is not canon same as what I say. They’re both theories that could possibly fit into the mha setting. As long as the author hasn’t clearly stated how someone’s quirk is found out then we are both simply speculating with the little information giving to us in the manga.

That wouldn’t change who is in which class. Inasa placed first with or without mc presence as for the distribution of the students into 1-A and 1-B it is clearly random. The class of 1-A is not stronger than 1-B. I mean if it was the case Kendo would be in class 1-A as she was ranked 5th in the entrance exam.

I looked it up online, every student be it normal exam or recommended student are distibuted in either 1-A or 1-B randomly. It is not a you got a better score so you go to 1-A. Or else Kendo who got the 5th highest amount of points would be in 1-A and not 1-B
