I love how khan is such a xenophile, it really humanizes(ironically) his character.

And there it is, what every other major alien species has been telling khan for forever. That chaos is not simply just for destroying shit.

I love that we are actually seeing Khan being more of an ambassador. Yes he is good at making relations with aliens but usually that is only if they have something he personally needs, like technique on how to control mana or they are in the way of him completing an objective that the global army has given him. However, we have very rarely seen him use those skills to resolve a situation that has barely anything to do with him. It was just good to see him insert himself into the situation, use his knowledge of this race, and his relationship with one of them to resolve the situation. Though I would love to see a situation where part of that backfires, like if an Orlat did not enjoy cruelty or being called a trickster, and then they take offense when Khan brings that information. Mainly because it force him to do his research on all the major figures in an area, along with those that are around those major figures, or it forces him to focus on learning about someone while talking to them without being too obvious about it. Both are very interesting methods that have interesting implications, Khan seems to be better at the latter than he is at the former because he lacks the connections, people, and power to get that information, for now at least.

But your two friends who haven't been on even half as many battlefields as khan. Amber has 0 experience and Cora has been on one battlefield. They are not useless, it's just that battle is not their current arena, it is and always will be Khan's. Khan should give them the chance and hopefully the results will surprise him, in a good way.

This was the funniest thing I have read in a long time. Khan being super serious about it just made it so much funnier.

Considering Khan's talent for fighting and engaging with aliens, adding on piloting shouldn't hurt him that badly. Plus it gives him an opportunity to make his own sort of new job position within the Global army. An ambassador who travels to meet new alien species and is capable of handling himself if those species are hostile, Khan suits that role perfectly. It means, he is not beholden to anybody when it comes to leaving a planet, as long as he is strong enough. Its literally everything Khan wants wrapped up in a bow. Maybe you add in Khan leading a team of people who are all similarly trained, but that would be at least a decade away, probably.

I get that he needs a free hand but the lack of symmetry with Khan using only one knife, drives me nuts.

Yes he does but he chose the battlefield instead of training to be an ambassador because he realized that he can earn more merits and fame through being a soldier first. Then one day using that fame to become an ambassador so the higher he goes as a soldier, the better his ambassador career will be.

I imagine there is no one star warrior recruit on this planet or anywhere else in the global army that can do what Khan did. Meaning, any soldier that Khan is being compared to is probably older by 3-5 years while also having a higher level of mana and spells.

Look, if the Global army has a special forces unit, Khan should be in it because this man carry's any squad he has been in on his back despite he himself being a recruit. I am honestly surprised they didn't put him in it to begin with considering his performance on his last assignment. Just have him be a trainee for whatever special forces unit exists, there could be multiple( I have no clue if that is the case or not), and they will watch him absorb all that knowledge. Then by the time he is 20 he will become the strongest member of the global army below 30 years of age. Plus, after this incident and the Global Army seeing more of what Khan is capable of. There 100% should be repercussions for whoever decided to send somebody of Khan's talent and skill to a unit in battlefield that doesn't make proper use of his skills. Its like they have a diamond and they decided lets throw him into the battlefield with a bunch of fools gold. Yeah they should be able to give Khan everything he needs.

God, it really sucks that Khan gets being put in these situations where people die around him without him being able to do anything or help them at all. While he simultaneously does not have the support or resources of the group that is supposed to give him their support and resources, the global army. I look forward to Khan gaining a leadership position, that hopefully comes with a certain degree of autonomy, and then hopefully putting himself and his soldiers in better situations than his past and current leadership has done.
