I find it hard to believe anyone can find Raymond if he doesn't want to be found. But it's a good enough reason to spare the old fool's life as Rebecca requested. I think Khan is actually looking for a reason to do that without losing his ruthless face.

Khan perceives Raymond as an enemy. While his goals and intentions are unknown, all of his ploys helped Khan become stronger, or solidify his position. Low-key hoping he'll turn out to be a true ally even if Khan puts down his foot against humanity.

I so wanna see Ember's face when she learns old Gu's identity. She won't be testing his patience anymore. 😅

Even though CH has many similarities with BoTDS, it doesn't get old. Good to have these bits and pieces with fresh context.

Will he ever learn not to remain alone with strangers, I wonder. Especially women.

We haven't seen him going all out from the beginning either. He has a habit of starting slow, gradually increasing his output, and he never uses more mana than absolutely necessary, because he loathes mindless destruction. I bet he doesn't skip even one day of training either, and Baoway is like Milia 222 on crack with the blue plants. All in all, he has even more force at his disposal than we've ever seen.

After his revenge slaughter and now this bloody war paint with pelts, he could legit pull off a fearsome-lunatic warlord role too. I doubt he would use it intentionally with aliens, but I can see him turning out that way with humans by sheer necessity.
