Though with your amazing writing you managed us readers to let Geoffrey occupy a part of our heart but no to forget Serena and Charlton's love was quite justified the way it began. Selena knew that Geoffrey is in a relationship with Emily and that's why she went ahead with the Second Male Lead. Who knew that Geoffrey will leave Emily for her. So in the later chapters when it is revealed that Geoffrey assaulted Selena while she was asleep, and ofcourse he will try to justify his act by bringing up her and Charlton do not forget to mention about why she did all that and her falling in Charlton, Geoffrey is himself to be blamed for it. Please do bring up Emily and Geoffrey's matter in Selena's defense. Reminding you to avoid any plot-holes just in case cause Geoffrey seems to have forgotten all about his adultery even if it wasn't physical but he did cheated first. I know he was venting his anger and all that but not justified though. He played Emily then discarded her, even if Emily later turned out to be sour but what began between them had no filter. Please make a story like Serena would dream of her previous life (in which she died and travelled to the current story) and in that life her husband was DUN! DUN! DUN! - Charlton! Yes Please make it a win-win situation for both Geoffrey and Charlton. I suggest a plot like Geoffrey saved Selena and was just wounded, Charlton saved him and later right before Selena attacked Christopher and the rebels, he will reveal himself and they will get together. Selena will promise that if she lives an another life, she will marry him for sure (and she does, in the previous life in the modern times). After this fantasy book you can write a new story of Selena and Charlton, and how they got together in the modern times. Tbh the timeline to me is like - Timeline first - Geoffrey was in love with the female lead, Selena is the Villainess and dies, ML along with his friends regrets and Charlton who started loving her wishes to God for her happy ending. Timeline 2 (modern times) - Charlton and Selena got together, lived happily forever. Selena dies and goes back to Timeline 1 thinking that it was a novel which she read but turns out it was written by her husband, Charlton kr Charlie (as he went by) to warn her about the future and how she can change it. Timeline 3 - Your book, in which Selena ends with Geoffrey. She remembers it all now, after spending a happy life she dies and her soul returns again for the last time to keep her promise with Charlton. She forgets all about the past lives and kind of feel connected with Charlton and they meet coincidentally, Charlton exclaims - found you! Oh Lord! Prolly I should write a book soon or something 😂. But here's just my ideas for you. Ofcourse, the book is yours so is the plot. xoxo
