Are those names for the future, or just nicknames rn?
I don't think 'god' is too strictly defined. In Christianity, God technically cannot die, but there are different gods. Like in greek and roman mythology ,gods can get injured and put into a death-like state where they're technically alive, but more like dead. In Chinese mythology, the first god died. In Egyptian mythology, gods die all the time. Other mythologies may have gods that are pretty much like over-powered mortals. 'God' is not strictly defined, so in Killerhemboy's story, a god could die. It's fiction as well, so just chill. Besides, if you read World Domination System, Daneel is pretty much like a god to the citizens of Angaria. (When is he going to become as overpowered as before? :C)
I feel like it's very slow paced at the beginning especially compared to Daneel's progress in World Domination System. It's sad to see his beyond Peak Hero skills go to waste. As a slave he has to escape, find Faxul, Elanex, Eloise, and Xuan (does he have to court his wives again?), unlock their memories after his assuming he can even recognize them, find the sunken Angaria where he could find his original body, rise to the level of Saints, take over the Mainland, then revive everyone that has died in Angaria. Given the slow pace that the chapters have been posting and the MC is progressing, I really hope that the author can quicken up the pace.
I don't really think that this is a good way to review. I think it was a great story and MC was one of the best I've read. Mana was Kretos's strong suit and he might've relied on it too much. As mentioned, the Strongest Mortal Soul was relatively weak at the moment, but it still took a Mana-nulling pill and the strength of the strongest of all the races combined to take him down. As the author mentioned, he was also tired and wanted to get this over with. In regards to your other parts, I've tried to write my own story and it's pretty hard. To create such a masterpiece that you've worked so long and hard for would hurt a lot if someone disliked it and spit on it. I'm sure a lot of people including my friends would want to read this story. If you didn't like the story, you should've just moved onto something else instead of staying and venting out your anger.
Is Bliss really God? Cause she seems kind of like some snobbish shaman.
As I commented before, killing Jim was huge. It's just like killing a president nowadays. Jim's ability didn't focus on himself and his physical strength, but in the creations and things around him. In an actual 1 vs 1, even a 18 year old vampire can defeat the ex-vampire lord with ease. Without him it is unknown if the Dalki possess the knowledge to create more vampires. It is highly unlikely that they would want to, but some more intelligent Dalki like Graham could try. In addition, there won't be an unlimited amount of six-spiked Dalki, even if it's for a short period. For the leveling up, I had two theories. The progression from vampire to vampire noble was 10 levels. The progression from vampire noble to vampire lord is 20 levels. The next one could either progress 30 or 40 levels. If he doesn't get an evolution or anything from level 70, then the next one might be level 80.
Despite the loss in MC, Jim's death was big. Not only will he not be able to recreate more six spiked, the Dalki probably don't have the brains to create more Dalki. They also recovered the Demon-Tier shield, and if Jim is still alive, he can be used Shadow Eater on to regain some MC.
Theoretically, if Quinn manages to weaken him enough, how many MC would he get. Besides, with his level 2 shadow eater, he doesn't have to weaken them as much as before. It's clear that Jim himself isn't too strong, and is too reliant on his short-lived bodyguards. In that case, would he get 1000 MC like when he did it on Cindy, more since he is really far advanced with his skill, or less since Cindy basically had the power of a Vampire King at the time.
I think the vampire abilities are as mysterious as how the Originals were first created. I do think that maybe it was that same tablet that granted their ability. For the Eno ability, I think that Richard was wise to not overuse it since the consequences would have been too great. Jim doesn't seem to care about collateral, and it doesn't matter if countless Dalki die as long as he is fine.
I think that Vincent was probably the one that started the attack. Besides, using Arthur's trick would probably use up more MC than just blocking it. Arthur has also had thousands of years to learn the ability while Quinn had a little over a year.
Dang! One punch took out 2500 MC? How is Quinn going to survive this?
