I am glad someone else is bringing this up. I was so invested in this story at first that I bought privilege chapters to keep up. And I was even more excited when FL divorced and made a comeback because I thought she would finally stop being that weak woman from the past. However, I got so disappointed when in fact, she seems even more week than ever. ML does whatever he wants with her, and no one seems to be able to stop him because FL keeps everything wrapped up. I enjoy the author's other works, but this particular story makes me sick to my stomach. And it so happened to be the one getting promoted more than the others. Perhaps readers enjoy reading about abusive ML and extremely weak FL.

I love this story but I honestly don't understand why they had to hide the incident that happened to Giovani years ago?! I mean he escaped being murdered by someone else saving him. Also, there are a lot of grammatical errors that can easily be fixed with AIs like Grammarly.

I have no issue reading about a weak-to-strong female lead; however, I do hope you will give her a better ending other than her life resolving permanently around her abusive ex. I love Hazel's character but please give her a better partner. It's disheartening to imagine she will end up with a man who has and is still ill-treating her.

This has turned really disappointing! I don't get why women have to suck up to their abusive husbands and never move on from them. I am going to believe you have a plot twist somewhere hence I will read a couple more chapters. However, if this persists, I will give up this book.

I know such stories often end with Hazel getting back together with Chase. However, I hope that won't be the case with this story. Let the female lead move on with a better man for once instead of constantly going back to her abusive ex-husband. I have had to drop many good stories because of this - it unnerves me.
