i hate how they don’t have real conversations. i want them to talk to one another especially about their past instead of dance around it, flirt and submit.

i’m a bit confused on how the Duke is portrayed as “sweet” but in reality he comes off as controlling and manipulative. he basically controls every aspect of fo life and forced her to be his wife. the fl is meant to be a Queen whose really smart but she doesn’t even stand up for herself against the duke and falls prey to his charms. she can’t even come up with a proper escape plan, for someone who claims to be desperate to save her country she doesn’t do much.
