I kinda trust the king because of what he asked the goddess he ask for a good/loving family right? the other 2 thing he asked he got (more magic and having it come back faster) so it would make sense that the king would have some kind of positive feelings for him, and his other brother(forgot his name) would most likely like him and feel bad about how he treated him... the sister is the only one I'm concerned about as she can either be a really strong ally or the antagonist

he's not really powerful, he only got more magic and have it come back faster, but he doesn't know how to fight + with him not knowing what the king wants with him he has to be even more careful which I don't think the king wants to kill him and probably want to protect him in some way I say this as his grandma probably told the king something and her "death" and living in the same wing as Alex was to save face for killing her husband and keeping the secret of killing non lightning/light royal children Then with Alex still living even after princess light magic was found, the king probably loved his mother or wanted to love him but because he is illegitimate he couldn't do it in front of people or they may try to kill Alex
