If you really want to find some plot holes oh boy this is the novel for you, everywhere you go there are plotholes to find, if you can ignore them tho the story is pretty boring and standard

Blatant Propaganda, it could have been a good setup for a nice story, but no it has to be filled with a lot of ideological bs. I think there is a place to be proud of your culture but to be painting a picture of a absolute distopia outside of your country is just trying to influence the view people have of your country, by putting outsiders down. Sad to see that there are so many novels where seemingly out of nowhere only the chinese culture can stand up to a global event. I dont like this black and white thinking that is used here, every society has good and bad parts
