20 basic swordsman levels means 20 str and 20 agi, additoional 10 for overall level, makes it 30 in both so far. 9levels in official swordsman is 18 str and 18 agi, making it 48 so far. 10 str from chef and 10 from agent make it 68... Additionally it was mentioned he got several stat points from training alone, they should be at least 80 points by now...
I guess you are going for something like ayanokoji based on "ability to learn is ridiculous", which is fine, but don't make mc have 200iq by default from that, of course you can make him find or create yin based jutsus that increase intelligence if you are going down the big brain route. Good luck with the fic, I will come back when there are at least 20 chapters
Honestly im fine with it but the mc feels like a little female dog crying all the time, i literally don't care about those dumb emotions and would rather get to the plot
I think its alright so far, but except for small grammar mistakes in places, for the names of the jutsu you should use either full english or full japanese names, ideally full english as someone that doesn't read them that often would not recognize the names. Finally, give the mc a name and introduce his skill properly, as he trained for 500 years and you don't say what he trained in, also taijutsu is missing from his evaluation form above but i am not sure if that is intentional
enamoured?
Welp, I think this will go full cliche route so I will drop it now and check reviews when it is done. Also, your monologues are waaaay too long, it is like a person says a sentence and then mc monologues in the next 150 sentences, then back to convo again and repeat
The council approves
Someone didn't read the top review's replies it seems
Great, then she is gonna be in love too and start being annoying, rinse and repeat. I am out
So he is somrwhat dumb then, as If i woke up in a hospital and I was questioned by government entities, I would consider being dissected to be a possible outcome based on my responses, i would never act like a kid in those scenarios. Honestly even in a normal scenario I would not act like a kid unless im alone
And what you misunderstood, is that anyone who is in a different world, has those conclusions on language hospital korea, life and death experience, would be overwhelmed at that moment and try what they think is best to survive. It is called survival instinct, and it always comes before inner child
It is a childish dream, and only those who are manchildren will react to it. An adult who barely survived, with no information on where he is, behaving like a brat? Anyone not a child mentally would be insecure in the situation and focus on getting information and making sure they are alone before getting their panties twisted. Regarding the questions, here you go: 1. What ranks of hunters are there? 2. How strong is an E-rank compared to a regular human? 3. Are there any procedures new hunters have to do regardless of whether they want to join the association or not? 4. You mentioned mana. Are there any guides on how to use it that you can share? 5. Is there anyone else that I can talk to who was in the same place as me? just change adult to teenager and all of a sudden you have an accurate portrayal...
I don't recall you mentioning he is a reader, and if he is and he wakes up in a modern hospital and people wearing suits talk to him, he should confirm what actual power system they use, magic, qi, internal energy? Is what they call mana different than what he knew it to be? Considering they had no knowledge of him and no records, I would assume they would check his memories anyway if they could, so claiming amnesia is better, and if they do check it he can say "ok i came from another world, you would think im crazy if i said that".
Aside from the fact there are at least 5 different smarter things to ask, the way you portray his expressions and emotions on being a "superpowered" person is childish
Made a comment on the paragraph i was talking about. It is stupid not to ask about mana when he already asked about a gate, if he is going full caution mode, all he should ask about is the association and where he is at. Asking about the level of technology when he is at a hospital resembling his old world, after concluding he has reincarnated is much worse than questioning the power system. Even faking memory loss would be smarter. My issue on your MC is that he is acting either really stupid or somewhat cautious, it is like you can't make up your mind on how he should be. Regarding aggressiveness, only snowflakes care about that, idc if you insult me using every word in the vocabulary, i don't take it personally. Just make sure you don't use words that make you shadow banned, as this is a web app by snowflakes
Here is the statement i was referring to
chapter 5, instead of focusing on his situation he is more interested in breaking boulders and running alongside a speeding vehicle. The right approach would be to try to gain more information like what is mana, instead of asking something like that. It reminds me of the protagonist of the game "Forsaken" which was a teenage braindead girl who behaved like that, and that is one reason that game was horrible
These kinds of statements fit a chinese young master instead of an adult... contrary to what you are trying to describe
