It doesn't seem like it.
That would be the destroyer...
Yes, invisible is the word. đ
đ
My first thought was that the destroyer wanted to kill Skender for what he has done - trying to numb the destroyer. Even though he has made it clear that they need each other. But, your suggestion makes more sense.
I like how you take your time and point out spelling/grammar mistakes to help with the language. I couldn't do that without thinking a million things and apologising for them too, while writing my comment. đ However, "can't" is the correct word to use here. đ Rayven is saying that what Skender did is not worse than him planning to rip Angelica's heart out of her chest. Which I have to agree on! What Rayven wanted to do was a lot worse, than Skender holding William by the collar. Not that it was a good thing, but he didn't hurt him. Rayven intervened in time. Thankfully! â€
I, too, was thinking about this, when reading the paragraph where Skender tells Marie that he hasn't been with a woman in a long time. My first thought was that it has been 500 years since he was with a woman, automatically thinking it was with Ramona. But, then I had to stop and rethink. We don't know if they were intimate at some point or not, I don't know why my mind went there. There has been no indication of them sharing a moment like that, and we know that Skender, not even for a day, expierenced what it was like to be her man. But, as we don't know for sure, I guess that there is a possibility (which I think the hopeless romantic in me is needing to cling too - you know me). We don't know if he has been with anyone after he lost Ramona, either. Maybe the last time he was with a woman, was before he met Ramona? Either way, this whole ordeal, every part of it (past, present, future, fantasy, reality) is tearing at my heartstrings.
This statement has been stuck with me since I first read it. It bothers me on a level that I have trouble defining... I hurt for him, so much. đ He felt he had no other choice but to agree to give himself to her, so she could help him help Rayven get Angelica back. Now, he feels he just wants this "payment" over and done with, he doesn't really want to be there. And then the words he tells her: "It might not feel much of a reward." đđ No, and I don't think it should. Not when the price is so high. What's more upsetting to me though, is her reply. It disgusts me and angers me in a way. She knows he didn't want to give himself to her, the only reason he agreed to is because he didn't want Rayven to go through what he did with Ramona. The only way for me to accept this, is if Elena is right, namely that Marie knows that Skender is her fated mate (if witches have fated mates). And it just barely makes it ok. As Elena, repeatedly, has said, Skender's heart is closed to love (for various reasons), which makes this worse, somehow. I don't know... I needed to get this off my chest, I guess... Anyway, my heart breaks đ for Skender.
Me too â€
A bit of tough love to persuade him. đ đ
Same here. My eyes teared up. đ„Čâ€
That right there, that's being a friend. â€
I love that GIF! đ It's hilarious!
No, we didn't. Or at least hoped for no less.
