Another disappointing chapter, an unnecessary drawn out fight. We did not need it, the fights have nothing new to them. They don't matter, they aren't even used to show us Grey's improvements just what we already know. I also know that he'd win all his fights with sage realm elementalists.

This story is torture, imagine using a thesaurus every few days to look up new words that actually lack context but feel right because they created a sense of a hyperbole. Everything is grossly exaggerated, everytime I read it, I feel like my neurons operate at a decreased rate. It is insulting to call this literature because literature is supposed to be artistic, this right here lacks the art it's pathetic. Then I see people hyping it and I wonder if they have anything to do with their lives because I doubt there is much going on with the brains they have. It used to be good, so good I could not wait for an update. I used to use my coins for privileged chapters, it would be an insult to people who write really good novels to purchase chapters from this when I could just wait for the next day and read another two pathetic chapters. I pity myself for having an obsession to see a book through to the end because I get so pissed off after wasting my time reading another chapter of this pathetic thing for a story. The characters are so flat they lack depth. New concepts that don't even go far are introduced, imagine were introduced to Nomological edicts, they seemed like this super powerful concept and just around a corner we learnt that there were Quasi-insuperable, them Insuperable, then Quasi-Taboo and then Taboo. It's exhausting. There is nothing new to it, just continuous introduction of concepts, it has really grown old.

Lately the novel is lacking progress, it's repetitive. I don't know where the author heard but he sure has a soft spot for fights, every two to three chapters there's a fight. Believe me you they are unnecessary because Grey is already invincible in the Sage realm but we are constantly seeing him in unnecessary fights and he is some how still testing his strength which we've never even seen him go all out except once. It's really boring, no development whatsoever that I'm just reading because it has that earlier appeal but it's really stuck now. You can do better author, try something original please.

I don't know why the chapters as of late show a change in Grey's personality, firstly he did something for that little girl which is completely not his style. Now he is underestimating his opponents, which is clearly not his style as although he knows his capabilities, Grey is not a proud person. This fight should have ended a while ago, it's stupid really, always fights that are unnecessary because Grey is already strong enough to be called invincible in the Sage stage, now we should only be shown him gaining power instead of this unnecessary fights we know he is going to win because no has forced him to go all out which just go to show they are useless. It's boring really.

I'm seriously amazed by how much providence is amongst his friends, it's unbelievable honestly. Also why is leveling up so easy for them, I thought it was supposed to be super difficult to advance but in 5 years they are almost to the peak rank, in a state of war without a golden finger? Makes no sense. I get that you are trying to make them super talented individuals but this right here is just unbelievable.

The logic behind this story is rather incoherent. The MC breaks through 5 stages of Qi cultivation in one day, then in another 3 days he breaks through 3 stages, then it takes him two months to breakthrough to the 9th stages of Qi cultivation? Like really? I know it's trying so much to make the MC the underdog but anyone who reads this and thinks it's okay should just go to the psych ward, something is probably wrong with their minds. Then there is the logic behind the sword cultivation as well, I mean it takes him one day to go from a clueless novice to achieving great sword intent, then he is expected to take one month to advance again? I mean the one about cultivation would have made more sense if he was practicing his swords techniques or alchemy but we are being given a load of mind reducing illogical chapters and we are supposed to make do with it? Web novel has really deteriorated in their choice of trial novels because this right here is a waste of time. Read at own risk.

I think this novel will end up a mess, the introduction of this obsessive girl does not work with the story, in fact it's really boring. She adds nothing to the story at all, she doesn't push the plot forth nor is she of any help to the MC either than being a bully invading the MC's space under the idea of fan girling. It's an old and disgusting trope really. Pity this is just a translation.

In all honesty if you have some semblance of a brain this overly simplistic way of writing style used by the author, you'd find it rather disinteresting. The novel does not draw you in as a reader, it's stupid to even call it a novel because it disrespects the whole genre. There's no artistic value behind it, the author thought of writing a book riddled with tropes that would please the brain dead readers of Web Novel. It lacks life. The characters are flat. There is no complexity behind them. They don't feel realistic at all. It even amazes myself that I read till chapter 189. What I want to say is, the idea of a harem in itself will be badly executed, you can tell from the start that it will have female characters who will be dependent on the mc because this novel is a fucking people pleaser. It's not good if you want to maintain the little brain cells you have left but if you want to waste your time then you might as well read it, it would be good then but I'm sure your brain's capacity to think would be reduced. All in all it's not a bad novel for your dump readers but for those who want to engage with the work this is a stupid novel.

Back again I'm up to chapter 107 and so far still no improvement the MC is still passive. He has pretty much became a babysitter. He'd much do better were he were to work solo but he is constantly giving opportunities to his friend. I so much wish that this world was more cruel than it is, I've never read a book with such an outstandingly lackluster protagonist. He is quite two dimensional honestly and all the other characters as well. The author had such a good concept in writing the novel but his execution of it is rather disappointing. It could have been better.

Quick question to all those who've read the book till later chapters like does the MC ever find the resolve to get strong and stop being scared of people discovering that he can real be powerful. I mean I read up to chapter 42 and at this point it has become dull knowing that he has this stupidly powerful system but he hardly ever uses it. I mean for someone from the 21st Century Earth and to not have played games is weird if you ask me particularly if you consider that he died at 19, he system is so easy readied for him and it's not a system that controls it's mc, it's a gamer's system than anything. It's the for the purpose of allowing the MC to grow stronger or be the strongest but damn is it under utilized. It's monotonous honestly.

Honestly if it weren't slow, I'd give this a full 5 stars. It doesn't matter that Grey within the same plane is almost invincible but he is constantly in danger that it just seems like the author is not giving his mc good return for said danger, it's boring. I mean it would be fun if Grey was rewarded for everytime he got into danger which is almost all the time that it has become repetitive. Take a time skip, you don't have to feed us a day to day basis of whatever is happening in Grey's life, level him up because he honestly needs it . Also if Grey ever gets on good books with his parents, I'd be disappointed. They might have just said to him to go fuck himself to be honest, for him to have a powerful background but never actually using it. it's really boring and it's been implied for hundreds of chapters, I don't know if the author plans to address it or finds this child abandonment pleasing because it is not. I'm a sucker for Grey, he deserves more than the author gives him.

When I started reading the novel it had no harem, I liked it and did not stop when they eventually introduced the harem because the novel is interesting. Had it had harem right from the beginning, I honestly would have dropped the novel, not much of a harem fan.

Thought when it said abilities and power it would only be that, I mean that's all that is needed for a template not a complete transformation of the MC. Also it doesn't make sense what does it even mean it's owned by the system? I mean he won it, shouldn't it be rightfully his since he also paid for it? This is robbery at it's best, the MC could and should have been given the full ownership of the template and not the system.

Excellent novel. Just don't like the many women that are introduced that play no major role but are just there to glorify the MC, it's really boring in that regard. Honestly Meixu would have been enough that Chu girl is really just there to do what exactly? They are all too reliant on the MC that it's boring, he is always bringing the around and mostly they hinder him, wish the story could move past the point of harem and just be a proper story with Yuan grinding levels and experience the cultivation world.

I'm certain now, the power scaling in this novel is different from the actual OP manga, I can also fully say that whatever abilities the author has decided to give to Imu by the time the manga ends, this novel will have to rescind them. it would not work with the true work's power scaling making this one a huge plot hole.
