I got bored and made a fake chapter 😛 All the mana in the surroundings suddenly started to get suctioned away to a single point. Everything in the surroundings seemingly froze. The undead and demons grew weaker as all the mana that supported them drained from their bodies, all the mana inside the surrounding people's bodies was siphoned out, as well as all mana fueled attacks. All this mana rushed underneath the abandoned house before an ear piercing howl filled with a mix of an absurd amount of bloodlust and all of the taken mana, along with the sound of metal shattering. This howl caused the deaths of most of the weaker undead and demons while pushing the rest of the surrounding creatures away. Along with this, came an overbearing pressure that forced everyone to the ground before condensing onto the lich. "Kekekekeke, it seems that the little wolf has woken up." That's when the house burst apart, revealing the silhouette of Ark. When Atar saw this, he cried out, "PAPA!?!" Hearing this the lich immediately decided targeted Atar and sent the small amount of mana that he had regenerated at him in the form of a pitch black lance. Right after it was launched, the amount of bloodlust increased drastically as a massive area was instantly drained of mana, causing the lance to dissipate. All this mana was quickly condensed into a small orb as Ark casted every spell he had into it, causing the the orb to become dangerously unstable. Feeling massive amounts of danger, Thufrat quickly shouted, "RUN!", as he grabbed Atar before speeding away. This caused everybody to snap out of their shock. But before the lich could attempt to do the same the orb had already been sent in it's direction, arriving almost instantly. Upon the collision all sound ceased to exist for a minute. The lich cackled saying "Guess your attack was a bit too weak. It's too bad for you, now--" A massive explosion interrupted the lich engulfing everything in a half kilometer radius around what used to be an abandoned house. As the commotion from the explosion died down the only thing that could be seen was a massive crater with five people inside. Those five being Ark, Ephine, Atar, Thufrat and the wood elf. Because of the conflicting souls within his body, the incredible amounts of pain he was in, and his high levels of bloodlust, Ark had been acting purely on the instinct to protect Ephine and Atar. Thus before the explosion a barrier appeared around Ephine and Atar Preventing any damage being done in a three meter radius around the two. Because Thufrat had picked up Atar, he didn't get harmed by the explosion while the wood elf had been near Thufrat so she was spared from most of the damage. When the dust cleared Thufrat could see Ark staggering towards him with a huge amount of bloodlust in his eyes. Noticing Ark wasn't himself at the moment and sensing the reason for the bloodlust to be Atar on his shoulder Thufrat placed Atar on his feet gently, before slowly backing away. The out of control Ark, upon seeing this swiftly grabbed Atar before putting him next to Ephine. Once this was accomplished Ark quickly collapsed into unconsciousness. Welp... Fake chapter created. Yay?
