For abilities some form of life detection/vision ability could be cool and kinda goes with his new vampiric aspect quite well. I feel like it could also be quite useful in helping to rescue his family depending on the scenario, and would continue to useful down the line Another alternative would be some from of healing ability preferably something that can be used on himself as well allies. When he goes to rescue his family it goes without saying how clutch something like this can be, of course he could always use health potions for this purpose so that lowers the overall value of a generic healing ability. Alternatively you could go for a more specified/niche healing ability, something like cleanse toxin or cleanse curse ect. Stuff that a generic health potion may not necessarily help with. Item wise I'm not sure how much the sun affects a dampier, but I'm assuming the effect is at least somewhat debilitating for a full vampire. So like a ring or a necklace that gives sun resistance could be quite useful, even if the item goes to the girl instead of him. Maybe toss in another another semi useful enchantment like increased mana regen or something as well.

I agree that's not a bad route although it would have to wait until he gets more stats to be able to keep up with that type of weight

some reference art would be cool I wanna see what it would look like. I'm imagining it to be a Warhammer space marine style aesthetic but I'm not sure if he is quite that bulky looking

Vulcan had designed a new armor set using tools from the Automaton factory. He fashioned himself a full set of black steel armor, fused to his metal body with a form of welding, along with a helmet featuring a black visor with wicked side horns and a flowing black cape. Jess had a similar outfit, but her helmet had an opening at the front to reveal her face. The rest of the sentries wore similar armor sets without the horns.
