The story is pretty mediocre. It's pretty much everything I expect from a webnovel novel. The story being told is alright. It's not anything mindblowing, but it's a story. What bothers me is the way it's told. The grammar is all over the place. There are some moments where the author seems to use impressive vocabulary, but it's quickly followed by an awkwardly written sentence that ruins the flow, as well as my immersion. By chapter 40, you can kind of tell that the author is just pumping out meaningless sentences to fluff up the word count This review will probably get deleted anyway, so here's some advice to the author, who I'm sure will see this. Read over your story before you publish it. Read it aloud and fix the sentence if it sounds wrong to your ears. Believe it or not, I understand why you're pumping the chapters with meaningless words. Most web novel authors do it because webnovel is a soul-crushing company that wishes to siphon out everything within your soul by forcing you to write 1.5k words a day for a measly 28.5% royalty. Fluffing up a chapter with meaningless words still drops the quality of the story, but I understand it.
This novel is just straight-up amazing. I am usually a silent reader who rarely comments, but when I see this author's novel I cannot help but feel complied to do so. This novel's start is much better than the rise of calamity's and that is expected since the author had improved a lot since then. One thing I didn't like was how slow the story was at the start, but now I see that it was worth it because now I can read this masterpiece!
Best girl?
Honestly, this is a great novel. Maybe it could have been better at the start, but to say it had improved dramatically from the first chapter would not be and overstatement. From the plot, character building to even the world building, everything is well done. One thing I really like about what the author is doing is that they are shrouding the entire plot behind a veil of mystery, and that mystery only makes you question further, until you get your answer. But then when you do get your answer, there is more mystery behind it. From the weird text to the characters, there was small and big details put in to make us think about. Volume 1's ending is a representation of a lot of what I had said while also leaving us as the readers excited on how the mc will get passed what happened and if they are going to be okay after it. The updating stability is really good too as we get 1 chapter a day, unless there is a bonus chapter. Anyway, great novel
What is a Goldfinger?
the best kind of women 👍
Does this mean the mc can go back to being a guy?
I think the Author made Elaina too dumb.
