Idk, I see that a lot of people disliked this development, but I think the author didn’t want the mc to go down the “optimal” or “calculative” path. Aside from him having amplified emotions, he’s also in a human body now, so I can understand him being afraid of being exposed, and cracking. Many of you think that he should be arrogant enough to believe himself a god, but remember he still has the same personality as before he was transmigrated. From the background we’ve been given, it’s not supprising that he would be insecure. Plus, as much as many of you hate this development, it’s different from the constant arrogance and face slapping we see in other novels, it’s a nice change of pace from the cut and paste stuff you see in other places.
