Probably the jailed woman in the basement whom Maeve mistook as Gladys. Maeve casted a spell on the woman and she will have no choice but to dwell on the woman‘s cursed body. That‘s so twisted :)

Probable people who barged in: It could be King Victor who busted them but it doesn‘t matter because they are working all together against Lazarus. It could also be Lazarus and his team but Aillil will use his magic so that they won‘t really be seen.

Maeve will probably caught Emma and hold her hostage for the ritual. The electricity that flows through Emma‘s body will prevent her from entering Emma‘s body thou.

Nice trick von Lazarus, but I am sure Maeve will not let go down without a fight. She might enter the servants including Ginger. Emma was probably hidden by Nephie. Lazarus traced her to Nephie and Nephie took her somewhere else.

Evie’s family probably took her to bring her back home. And on their way home, they were attacked by vampires. In Chapter 7, it mentioned that she and her family was attacked in one of their travels and as a result, she’s having nightmares about it. It could be that Gav tried to rescue her and she saw his terrifying appearance- his vampiric side. Afraid that Evie would only remember him for being a savage beast/ a monster, he probably casted a spell to Evie so she won’t remember these details, including her ability to fly and being a Light Fae. That Spell coupled with time manipulation probably trigger a somewhat neverending time loop and memory loss (for everyone including Gav himself). Gav will then try to open all doors of the universe until he finds the ‘right’ Evie- the one who remembers him on their youth: playful, young, and in love. Engaging novel, keeps one guessing. It seems like they are stuck in a time loop, where everything is bound to happen again, with slight differences at each event. This could be one of the consequences of Gavrael manipulating the time. Very good story.
