Shadow slave is unlike most novels on this website in the way that the MC actually has to break a sweat to achieve his goals.All the complaints I’ve heard about this novel is about the fact that the MC isn’t overpowered and steam rolls through everything. The world is a breath of fresh air and doesn’t have your cliche system nonsense that’s copy and pasted everywhere. It has a really cool dark souls vibe And the power system feels real and difficult and isn’t scaled in 100 chapters by the MC. The character dynamic between Sunny and Nephis gives me Naruto and sasuke vibes and it’ pretty obvious that there’s going to be aromance between them Overall I think this novel is the peak of what this website has to offer
