I'd argue the danger is more the people than the walkers.
John using his rifle was able to wreak havoc across the city of Atlanta, running throughout the entire city, John clears any walker that he saw, while looting every building that caught his attention. While looting he didn't forget that cute blonde girl, Amy, grabbing her tons of chocolates, he also grabbed her a frilly, yellow sundress. Seeing as he had run around the city for quite a while and looking at his watch, he decided to head back to head back to the quarry. Arriving at the edge of the city where he had left the Camaro, he saw that it was missing. I don't understand why you bothered with the shop system where you can summon ANYTHING, if you're actually going to go and loot places? Why risk your life unnecessarily? One bite and you're a zombie. One bullet to the head and you're dead.

I know this was a long time ago so my comment is useless, BUT you can summon anything... why would you not skip the horses and summon gas? Lie about where you found it or say you siphoned it out of a car or something. Especially because you KNOW what's going to happen if you follow him on horseback into Atlanta.
They then start to look around the small ranch, there was a car but there was no key, as they were about to go and search the house, they hear two sets of heavy breathing. Turning towards the noise they see 2 horses, standing there looking at them, they found some saddles in the bran nearby, and put the saddles on the horses in order to ride them the rest of the way to Atlanta. At first the horses were tense but seeing that they were not going to hurt them, the horse calmed down. - AnnalyciaAnne211yrCommented
That's a strange sentiment considering some of the 100 are actual murderers. I think beating up either 2 or 20 guards is nothing in comparison to that but whatever lol
