That's not how things work. If he does that he is marked as a kinslayer, which is something worst than a dude murdering someone. He will be banished and just having a dragon doesn't make your invincible. Look at what happened to Maegor. He will absolutely be banished and Rhaenyra will have to take over and I doubt she has the ability to unexile him. Dragons are just tools of war, not politics.

Mellos was still petrified by Aemon's actions against the king, and all he could mutter was, "This is treaso—!!" before he was sent flying by a punch to his face. He landed hard on the floor, breaking several of his fragile old bones in the process. His face was mangled and filled with blood, and he spat out several teeth as he coughed. He saw a shadow covering his body, and he slowly raised his head to look at the owner of the shadow. Looking down on him was the very incarnation of death, in the form of Aemon's blazing eyes and maniacal expression. He saw the tears running down the young prince's face, forming a distorted picture that he was sure would haunt him for the rest of his days if he survived this ordeal. Aemon's strong and bloody hands slowly approached his face as Mellos pleaded between coughs, "P-please," to no avail. The last thing he saw was a pair of thumbs each approaching his eyeballs as Aemon lifted his body by his head into the air with supernatural strength. He felt them slowly sinking into his eyes as he thrashed and screamed in pain, his pleading screams now gone as agony and despair took over him. He was clad in draconic dark armor, which had intricate red details, and when it shone against the sun, it reflected a beautiful dark bronze light. He was tall and strong, perhaps the tallest man he had ever seen. His silvery hair contrasted deeply with his sharp and beautiful purple eyes. He looked ahead with confidence and purpose. His aura was sacred and noble, it compelled Viserys to want to bow to him almost as a reflex, as if his blood recognized him as his king by instinct. Quality > Quantity.
I want to explain some things about this chapter. I originally planned to release it just like the last one, something between 5-6k words. However, as I was editing, people kept pressing for a release, and I understand—you like my story, and that makes me very happy. But you have to understand that I have a job and other things to attend to in real life, so sadly I don't have the time to write or edit every day. I mostly write this on my way to work, as it's the only spare time I have most days. Last week was absolutely insane at work, and even over the weekend I had to work, which is why I could barely release one chapter. This week will be a bit less stressful, and I should be free this weekend, so I can write/edit more chapters.
