Well it is if we talk about the killing itself. This is such a cruel way of killing - even your prey wants to suicide from sorrow. Watching this as side viewer is terrifying, but for Rin herself it actually safes her from the killing burden. Also fits her character perfectly, i cant think of a better way to do this exam with other murder

This is such an original way of torturing as expected from Rin. Like - she didnt kill anyone physically so that makes her slightly more innocent, because I think that her problem of struggling to kill innocent people is her creed/belive that when she kills someone innocent (sr for this wrd spam) she will become the same as her hateful enemies assasins. So her soul and mind will suffer and she will lose some of her will power, because she wouldn't be able to forgive herself for the sign of turning into 'that' monster. She wants to be a monster but only for the people which made her suffer like her father and the assasins. Its good that her plan went well and she passed the exam without damaging her strong revenge feelings. She is rly awesomely smart.
